Hi, I’m Nix — and this is Nix in Orbit, a little corner of the internet for all the things currently on my radar.

I’m one of those people who can start by looking for one thing and somehow end up researching twelve others. A nail colour turns into a whole manicure mood board. Looking for something for the house becomes an evening of comparing products. One seasonal idea leads to twenty more saved for later.

So I decided to put all of those discoveries in one place.

Why “Nix in Orbit”?

Because this site isn’t about sticking to one tiny niche.

It’s about everything that happens to come into my orbit.

Sometimes that might be a ridiculously good nail idea. Other times it might be a home find, a clever little product, a seasonal trend or something I’ve spent far too long researching and think is worth sharing.

Think of Nix in Orbit as a constantly changing collection of things I’m loving, looking into, bookmarking and discovering.

A little about me

I love researching things, finding inspiration and getting completely absorbed in the details.

I’m also a big believer that everyday life can be made better by the small stuff — finding the perfect colour, discovering a product that actually solves a problem, making your home feel more like you, or stumbling across an idea you can’t wait to try.

This site gives me somewhere to collect all of that rather than leaving it scattered across endless saved folders and browser tabs.

And hopefully, it saves you some of the searching too.
